Good Morning! I have zombie’ed myself out of bed finally and am prepping for the big day. I still don’t like the west coast to east coast time change, it still feels like 4:00 AM. As I always say, go west to work and east to party!
Enjoying my hotel buffet breakfast of eggs, sausage, fruit, Activia yogurt and a little granola
And some Constant Comment tea for the road. I think by far that is my favorite tea ever.
Last night when I checked in, I found out I made Marriott Silver status, and got a free room upgrade! Check out my sweet suite:

And bathroom/vanity (blogger creeper not included in all amenitties)
After I finished settling in I hit up the hotel gym for my first real workout in, like, forever.
Warmup: 2×20 squat and press with 8 lb medicine ball
Strength: 3×10 Dumbbell squat to overhead press, 10 lbs 3×10 Dumbbell deadlift, 10 lbs 3×10 lunges, body weight
3×10 plié squat, 10 lbs <- I planned on this, but after the lunges my quasd were all, “no.” 3x30sec bridge holds
Cardio: 30 min on treadmill, 1.5% incline, intervals: 5 min walk @ 3.0mph 1 min run @ 4.5mph
It was enough to get me sweaty again and shake the airplane cobwebs out.
After working out I talked to Hulk and some other friends on the phone while prepping for the week’s work and ordering room service:
Pizza! Not the healthiest option, but I was pooped and went for it. They make such good pizza here.
