About Me

Hi!  I’m Emily.

This is my blog. On the internet. I know, right?!?

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband Hulk, our two small humans Squish and Buttercup, and Olive the Wonderdog.

I try to eat paleo, I try to lift heavy things, and I try to stay positive with love and compassion. Usually I eat cookies, I sit on the couch, and I constantly have to motivate myself to get moving.

Enter: the blog.

Very nice.

I blog about my day, what I’ve been eating, how I’ve been doing on my goals, and mostly talking about the challenges of a modern girl trying to be everything and do everything. Because I’m awesome. It keeps me accountable, and I love this little blogging community as it is a source of inspiration, camaraderie, and the occasional much-needed kick in the pants.

So thanks for stopping by! Feel free to peruse the pages, and I hope you find something that puts a smile on your face, gives you an “aha!” moment, or in some small way makes it a better day. And please leave comments! Comments are like hugs from the internet.

  1. Way to go on the natural childbirth! I’m a marathoner too but wasn’t brave enough to try that! Something about knowing the timeframe of the pain….haha! Will definitely check out your blog! I’m interested in paleo!

  2. Hi Emily! My name is Christine and I’m the writer for the Marshall Campus Rec Blog. I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for a Liebster Award! You can check it out on the blog’s site. Keep up the good work!
